On Sunday, August 11th, the Digital Co-Curation Team, made up of volunteers from Chicago's Fil-Am Community and the Field Museum's staff presented the 4th Kwentuhan (Story Telling)- "Blades and Spirits".
A very small portion of the Field Museum's 10,000+, 100 year old +, Philippine Artifact Collection was discussed, celebrated and shared with the 100+ attendees.
Thanks so much to Cassie Pontone, Assistant Collections Manager, Philippines Anthropology Collections, Science and Education for leading the Field Museum's support and coordination of our community's effort to co-curate the world's largest Philippine Artifact collection, outside of the Philippines.
Please click the following images for more information, volunteering and supporting the efforts to digitize the entire collection and enabling Chicago's Fil-Am community to get a physical display built at the Field Museum focusing on this Philippine Artifacts collection.Email email@example.com for more information on how to participate.
